How gorgeous is Baby Lizzy!? I shared a few images from Lizzy's Newborn shoot about 6 months ago and now I'd like to share a few of the images from her 6 months photoshoot-How could I resist with those big blue eyes and such a cheeky smile, she's just adorable.

How cold has it been hey? I saw someone describe December as Decembrrrr and I think thats totally accurate!

With that said, if you wrap up warm in hats and scarfs, wellies and coats, winter can be a fabulous time for a photoshoot.

I thought I'd share some images from one of my winter shoots last weekend with the lovely Roberts Family, on location at their home.


After having some fun in the snow, we all warmed up with a cup of tea and finished off the shoot with some extra pictures inside the family home.

A Treasure Trove, a treat and a totally wonderful find, Sal Norris Photography, Bottega, Commercial Photography, Chester

Its the kind of place you want to keep secret but also feel compelled to share with your friends-Where am I talking about? The delight that is BOTTEGA, a boutique that recently relocated from Holt to a brand new larger store in Tarporley, Cheshire.

I cant find the words to describe it, you really just have to go and see it for yourself-but do, really its so worth going, its a wonderous place!

Yesterday I photographed Bottega as part of a very special event, a trunk show by designer Olivia Rubin, showcasing some of her Spring/Summer 2011 collection.

Below Im sharing a few images of the Boutique and the images of the event will be shared by Bottega itself via press and of course to their Facebook friends.

A Beautiful Vintage English Winter Wedding, Thornton Hall, Sal Norris Photography, Cheshire Wedding Photographer

Yesterday I had the enormous pleasure of photographing a gorgeous Winter Wedding in Cheshire.

Holly & Stephen were married at St Paul's Church in Hooton, followed by a Wedding Breakfast & reception at Thornton Hall, Cheshire.

Here I am sharing just a snippet of over 800 images captured during their special day...


A moment captured, Holly's two sisters helping her into her beautiful dress...



Holly wore a vintage lace style dress with a beautiful 1930'3 style crystal headpiece and kept the winters chill away with a chic fur bolero.




The bride was only about 15 mins late!!.....

I wasnt going to Blog another Autumn shoot as Ive posted quite a few, however these little girls are so lovely, I just had to give you a peek at a selection of the images from this On location photo shoot.

Three gorgeous sisters, Charlotte, Sienna & Olivia were a pleasure to spend a sunny late October day with...


As always, my photoshoots allow for changes of location and outfit so a range of images and looks can be achieved in the same session.

Do you remember Kirsty's Maternity photoshoot from last weeks blog?.....well just 4 days later (and 3 weeks early) Baby Elly decided she was ready to enter the world!

So just a week after the Maternity shoot I have been photographing Elly for her Newborn shoot...at only 4 days old :o)

Parents Dave and Kirsty have joined the Sal Norris Photography Baby club which includes 3 shoots in 12 months. They have chosen Maternity, newborn and 6 months for a complete set of images to capture this special time.

Anyone who knows me knows Im a girly girl, all sugar and spice and all things nice!

Now, take two little boys, mix with puddles, sticks, fun and one girly girl photographer...and all I can say is thank goodness for long lenses! :o)

Having Fun and Looking Fabulous-Sal Norris Photography, Chester Portrait Photograher

Sometimes as a woman we just want to do something to make us feel lovely and fabulous. I love a spa treatment or a catch up with the girlies, buying new shoes or a big slice of carrot cake...I could go on! One of the best ways to make you feel fabulous is to see yourself looking fabulous, it does you the world of good.

With this in mind, I had one of my closest friends to stay last week and treated her to my location photoshoot experience. We spent a couple of hours in and around Tarporley, mixing and changing accessories and enjoying a natter whilst capturing some images of her looking super.

The first set of images echo my love of Autumn shoots-what a gorgeous time of year to be on location....




With the second set of images I took a more editorial approach-I especially love these ones!






And finally I shot a timeless Black & White set....
