Im really excited to have made the time to blog about Benj & Kate's beautiful Wedding. The Ceremony took place at Whitewell Church, near Whitchurch, possibly the most picturesque little church, down a tiny lane, secluded and private yet twinkling white like a hidden treasure.
I arrived in the morning to Iscoyd Park (
http://iscoydpark.com/) where Kate, the bride was getting ready with the help of her two sisters. Iscoyd Park, just a 4 minute drive from the church, is a privately owned family home and award winning country house wedding venue on the borders of Cheshire, Shropshire and North Wales.
Its really a venue that has it all, the wow factor, the long driveway, pillars (gotta love 'em), beautifully manicured gardens, classy and stylish interiors, lavish bedrooms, breathtaking food and faultless service...need I say more?
As I arrived, the Bride was being pampered by the onsite beauticians from the award winning Secret Spa(
www.thesecretspa.co.uk ).....again, what better way to start your wedding day, than in the comfort and calm of the master suite, whilst the girls work their Make-up & manicure magic. I mean who isnt going to feel like a princess in that bedroom, with that bathroom!!
As I arrived at the church, I was welcomed by a rather nervous Groom Benj, looking extremely dapper as he welcomed his guests.
Benj & Kate have a 9 month old daughter and it was lovely to see Daddy sharing a cuddle with baby Iris ahead of the brides arrival.
The interior of the church was decorated with dried lavender and set the scene for a ceremony full of warmth and laughter.
The Bride and Groom were whisked the short distance back to Iscoyd park on one of the most original modes of transport Ive ever seen. They left amidst cheers and much laughter aboard a customised ex-army Land Rover, complete with Champagne on ice!
Back at Iscoyd Park, guests enjoyed a welcome drink in the beautiful grounds, entertained by a 4 piece acapella doo-wop group called The Testostartones (
http://www.testostatones.co.uk/index.html) whilst the children played amongst a backdrop of fresh lavender.
As guests entered the marquee for the Wedding Breakfast, they stood amazed at Chef Ruperts magnificent Profiterole tower Wedding Cake. The food was out of this world!!
http://www.rupertfrazerworden.com/I left the party as the guests took to the dance floor to party into the small hours...just as it should be.
Congratulations Benj & Kate, wishing you every happiness and thank you for allowing me to capture your special day!
