Gemma & Nath's E Shoot, Wedding Photographer Chester, Sal Norris Photography, Autumn Winter Family Photoshoot

I'm fully booked with Winter Weddings this year which I'm so excited about. I love the warmth and ambiance created by candlelight and Christmas lights....Plus I might just be partial to a mince pie too :-)

In preparation for these Weddings, Ive been out meeting the excited couples for their pre wedding photoshoots. It's a really relaxed and casual quick photoshoot to get the couple used to being in front of the camera so that they feel more relaxed on their big day.

I caught up with Gem & Nath and their gorgeous daughter Harriet and here are a few of the images from their shoot.

Not long until the big day now folks!!!

Peckforton Castle, Rachel & Shaun's Wedding, Sal Norris Photography, Wedding Photographer Chester, Female Wedding Photographer

This post is about a fairytale couple, Rachel & Shaun and their beautiful and very special fairytale Wedding.

A Wedding that was 10 years in the making and 2 years in the planning, the couple went all out to create a day full of surprises and special touches that made it unforgettable.

The location was the stunning Peckforton Castle http://www.peckfortoncastle.co.uk/ a majestic and enchanting medieval castle standing proudly in mid Cheshire.

Bride Rachel looked like a princess as her father lead her down to the Great Hall where her Groom and guests awaited her entrance.

Groom Shaun arrived with his Merry Men (sorry, couldnt resist!) Apparently Shaun was dressed in full Robin Hood costume for his stag do :-)

As the ceremony got under way, the first surprise of the day was revealed to the guests. A beautiful Owl swooped down carrying the Wedding Rings, delivering them safely to the best man.

..And it was sealed with a kiss (and a legally binding document of course!)

As guests enjoyed a welcome drink, they were entertained with a falconry display from the castle's on-site team. As for the other picture, well... Bride. Groom. MASSIVE Eagle.

If that wasnt all totally impressive enough, guests were then treated to traditional Ice Cream from a quaint little cart. I had a Toffee Pecan cone. I was forced, honest!

The Castle has a great variety of stunning areas to capture amazing and dramatic images.

During the meal, guests were again surprised with the hilarious, talented, fun and utterly amazing Singing Waiters. I might have shed a tear during their rendition of Nessun Dorma, it was just so impressive. I loved capturing all of the napkin waving, singing and dancing that followed with a rendition of Elvis's 'Cant take my eyes of you' Check out the singing waiters at (www.elegant-entertainment.com)

Of all the Table plans Ive seen, this one impressed me A LOT. It was frozen in ice, really cool. pahahahah

As the evening drew in, I had a chance to try out some funky lighting effects for a last few shots on the lawn. I'd be interested to know what people think as this was a bit of a diversion from my normal style. Gotta love a bit of experimenting!

Congratulations Rachel & Shaun, thank you for allowing me to capture your fairytale day! Im pretty sure I enjoyed the day as much as you did!! Wonderful

**DONT MISS THIS** Latest Blog- Iscoyd Park, Whitewell Church, Benj & Kate's Special Day, Sal Norris Photography, Wedding Photographer Chester

Im really excited to have made the time to blog about Benj & Kate's beautiful Wedding. The Ceremony took place at Whitewell Church, near Whitchurch, possibly the most picturesque little church, down a tiny lane, secluded and private yet twinkling white like a hidden treasure.

I arrived in the morning to Iscoyd Park (http://iscoydpark.com/) where Kate, the bride was getting ready with the help of her two sisters. Iscoyd Park, just a 4 minute drive from the church, is a privately owned family home and award winning country house wedding venue on the borders of Cheshire, Shropshire and North Wales.

Its really a venue that has it all, the wow factor, the long driveway, pillars (gotta love 'em), beautifully manicured gardens, classy and stylish interiors, lavish bedrooms, breathtaking food and faultless service...need I say more?

As I arrived, the Bride was being pampered by the onsite beauticians from the award winning Secret Spa( www.thesecretspa.co.uk ).....again, what better way to start your wedding day, than in the comfort and calm of the master suite, whilst the girls work their Make-up & manicure magic. I mean who isnt going to feel like a princess in that bedroom, with that bathroom!!

As I arrived at the church, I was welcomed by a rather nervous Groom Benj, looking extremely dapper as he welcomed his guests.

Benj & Kate have a 9 month old daughter and it was lovely to see Daddy sharing a cuddle with baby Iris ahead of the brides arrival.

The interior of the church was decorated with dried lavender and set the scene for a ceremony full of warmth and laughter.

The Bride and Groom were whisked the short distance back to Iscoyd park on one of the most original modes of transport Ive ever seen. They left amidst cheers and much laughter aboard a customised ex-army Land Rover, complete with Champagne on ice!

Back at Iscoyd Park, guests enjoyed a welcome drink in the beautiful grounds, entertained by a 4 piece acapella doo-wop group called The Testostartones (http://www.testostatones.co.uk/index.html) whilst the children played amongst a backdrop of fresh lavender.

As guests entered the marquee for the Wedding Breakfast, they stood amazed at Chef Ruperts magnificent Profiterole tower Wedding Cake. The food was out of this world!! http://www.rupertfrazerworden.com/

I left the party as the guests took to the dance floor to party into the small hours...just as it should be.

Congratulations Benj & Kate, wishing you every happiness and thank you for allowing me to capture your special day!

Matt & Kristy's Stunning Wedding, Hillbark Hotel, Chester, Wirral, Sal Norris Photography, Chester Photographer

Time to share some more Wedding Pictures. Here's a little peek at Matt & Kristy's stunning Wedding Day at The Hillbark Hotel on The Wirral.

Kristy & the girls got ready at Inglewood Manor before leaving for the church. The weather was showery so a little hit and miss, however it cleared up to be a beautiful day for the reception.

The Hillbark is a stunning boutique hotel, that Matt & Kristy filled with special touches to make their Wedding unique and personal. From the picture place settings, to framed photos of the couple throughout their time dating, no detail was left un considered by super organised Kristy!

Take a look at Kristy's stunning dress and the amazing flowers. Just Gorgeous!

Enjoy.....
